Mission
Aromas and scents have been part of my life for as long as I can remember. Even as a kid, I couldn’t stay in a space that smelled “off” – one whiff of a bad odor, and I was already thinking about how to fix it. That curiosity quickly turned into a lifelong passion, and I found myself diving into everything I could about removing odors and creating a home that’s fresh from corner to closet (yes, including clothes and fabrics too!). I read books, joined trainings, took aroma courses, and became genuinely fascinated by how deeply scents influence our mood, our comfort, and, honestly, our whole lives.
It didn’t take long for me to realize that making a home smell amazing isn’t as simple as lighting a candle or placing a diffuser in every corner. It’s a little science, a little art, and a lot of small everyday habits.
From keeping things genuinely clean so dirt, bacteria, and those sneaky odor-causing culprits never even get the chance to form, to choosing the right ingredients to tackle stubborn smells, to storing things properly, to picking truly good-quality fragrance products – everything plays a role. Over the years, I’ve tested countless products, experimented with endless tricks, and collected solutions for (almost) every smelly situation you can imagine.
And then came the compliments. Friends, family, guests, even someone borrowing a cardigan on a chilly evening would pause and say, “Wow, this smells so good! Tell me your secret!” But the moment that still makes me smile happened at a birthday party. I clearly remember standing there, happily explaining to a friend why it’s important to change your home’s scent with each season (hint: to support your mood, your energy, and the natural rhythm of life. Of course, I explained it in extreme detail (very on brand for me). My friend looked at me, impressed, and asked, “You actually do all these? My husband started laughing and said, “Yes, she is a Scentfectionist.”
That nickname stuck, and it made me realize that my obsession with fresh, cozy-smelling spaces might actually help others, too. So I decided to start sharing my cleaning and scenting tips online – on a site named Scentfectionist, obviously.
I’m really happy you’ve found your way here, and I hope what you discover helps you create a home that smells incredible, comforting, and uniquely yours.
